Julianna received her Masters in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago in June 2016, and she has been working in wilderness therapy in Utah ever since. She is particularly passionate about working with young people struggling with substance use and young people recovering from trauma, having focused on these areas of study and practice in grad school. In undergrad at UChicago she studied visual art with a focus on public policy.
Julianna loves how adventure, craft, and humor can be used dynamically at Outback alongside evidence-based therapy interventions like DBT and CBT. Her current passions are astronomy, learning the guitar, and climbing Utah's beautiful red sandstone rocks.
