The Book of Generations is a book made by Outback students out of leather that is full of inspiring messages written by teens on the day before they leave the wilderness. This book is passed down from student to student and each teen is given the opportunity to write their message to the next “generation” after them. Here is an inspirational message from the Book of Generations:
Here at Outback I have learned more about myself than I think I could have anywhere else. It’s amazing what being out in the desert can do for you. Whatever you learn out here can help you for the rest of your life. The people you meet out here are like a family. So treat them that way. We are all a team out here we work together in hard and easy times. We play together and my favorite is we laugh together. It is magical out here. I think it can change your life in such a short amount of time. Whatever it is you learn from here take it with you home and apply it to your life there cause that is where we need it the most. This is an experience you will never forget so make the most out of it, enjoy it to its fullest. Teach the new kids, learn from the old kids. Only you can make the change in your life that you need.
