The Book of Generations is a book made by Outback students out of leather that is full of inspiring messages written by teens on the day before they leave the wilderness. This book is passed down from student to student and each teen is given the opportunity to write their message to the next “generation” after them. Here is an inspirational message from the Book of Generations:
“Outback has had a huge impact on my life. I always knew I was this strong on the inside but never knew how endless it was. The challenges that I have faced have been hard but rewarding. I’ve never felt so good in life. Something that I never expected is how accomplished I feel. Not only have I been sober for 8 weeks, but I know how to be part of a family so much better. Back at home it wasn’t good. I was so selfish and only did things for myself. Here I’ve been helping the coolest group of people ever, the mighty Dingoes group in the great Outback! I pray that I use my skills outside of Outback. I believe I will, because with the skills I’ve learned here I will be able to do anything in life that comes my way.”
