The Book of Generations is a book made by Outback students out of leather that is full of inspiring messages written by teens on the day before they leave the wilderness. This book is passed down from student to student and each teen is given the opportunity to write their message to the next “generation” after them. Here is an inspirational message from the Book of Generations:
Wow, this is it. I’ve learned so much here. This has been my home for eight weeks and two days. The staff, the students, everyone has been amazing. As well as this experience. I’ve learned so much about myself and my way of being. I know now how to overcome my emotions and one with myself. Outback has taught me it’s okay to be emotional, it has taught me a way of living I never thought existed. Living sober. I never thought the feeling of sobriety would be so good. I took things here day by day, moment by moment. Now I’m leaving. I will miss everyone and everything.
