The Book of Generations is a book made by Outback students out of leather that is full of inspiring messages written by teens on the day before they leave the wilderness. This book is passed down from student to student and each teen is given the opportunity to write their message to the next “generation” after them. Here is an inspirational message from the Book of Generations:
“Life is a journey. A journey can only be complete when one has learned all he can on it’s path. Outback is possibly the most essential journey of my life and only keeping an open heart and an open mind will supply the opportunities to absorb and learn from all. Everything has something to offer it’s up to you to go out and recognize the offering and take so that you and all others around you may grow. Throughout life, through ups, and downs the only thing that stays consistent is yourself so learn to love yourself and be honest and truthful to yourself, and only then will you achieve happiness consistently through your journey. I have already learned so much in such a short period of time that the future seems to hold unlimited possibilities. All you have to do is find them.”
