Teen Wilderness Therapy

This week brought the promise of cooler temperatures and the building of a new lorikeet generation.  The keets looked deep within themselves to find their true identities and the many masks they may wear.  One keet was honored by staff for her courage and bravery with the openness token.  As the week came to a close the keets enjoyed spectacular sunsets and the whispers of fall in the air.

The boys had a very moving group therapy session on venerability this week in which they and staff shared some very deep moments from their past with the rest of the group. Some tears were shed but the whole group showed a lot of support for one another and has become closer because of it.

The boys had a very exciting visionless journey one morning during their daily meditation in which they all helped each other through a rope course while blindfolded. The meditation brought about many laughs and some good insights for the boys.
